Volunteer Opportunities

St.Helens Mind urgently needs volunteers for our Befriending Service. If you can spare a couple of hours a week of your time to befriend someone who has become socially isolated because of mental health problems, we would love to hear from you.

You could really help to make a massive difference to the life of a local person who would benefit from the support of a friendly face who can listen and support them.

Our volunteers are highly valued and play a vital role in the Service we provide. Volunteers can offer support in many ways. You could provide practical or emotional support to someone, wether it is helping them to pursue an activity, be part of the community or help them to go to appointments.

We can offer you training, support and reimbursement of expenses, to help you gain a great deal from your volunteering experience.

We would also welcome volunteers interested in helping with the allotment and with Groups.
